Before starting Y'all Tech, Scott gained his first experience in Telecom by working with American Telesis from 1997 to 2000. Focusing on sales, support and design of "private lines" used in wide area networks, Scott quickly found that Telecom and Technology were a perfect fit for his career.  In Early 2000, Scott was hired by Hilton Head's local telephone company, Hargray Communications. In the 9 Years Scott spent working with Hargray, he got his start as a support analyst, moved on to a Field Integration Technician, was then promoted to Network Analyst and found that when nourished properly, he blossomed into the position of Network Engineer. In 2006, Scott was offered the position of Hargray Integrated Services Manager. With 9 employees under him,  he and his team became responsible for the integration of Hargray's Voice and Data Services into that of its customers networks. Deploying servers, software solutions, routers, phone systems and the specialized equipment needed to make them functional. Scott then left Hargray in 2008 to start Y'all Tech.
